The Urban Butler Limited (“us”, “we” or “our”) takes its obligations in relation to the privacy of your Personal Information seriously. What information do we collect?

  • When booking with us we ask for, and require, the following personal information: name, contact information (phone number and email address), billing or purchase information, and a valid form of ID. We may also request and collect other information relating to your stay that will help us improve the experience we are able to offer you.
  • When managing your property we ask for, and require, the following personal information: name, contact information, bank account details and property address.


Why do we collect this information?

  • We collect this information to conduct business and communicate with both our homeowners & guests, and to tailor our services to provide the best possible experience for all our customers.
  • When booking with us, we require personal photo identification to screen guests and prevent credit card fraud.
  • If you choose not to provide photo identification, we may be unable to accept your booking.
  • We also collect email addresses to reach out to the users of our services (guests and property owners) to send you communication by e-mail. As long as you're happy for us to do so, we would also like to keep you posted on anything that is happening at The Urban Butler which we think you might like to know about, including announcements about offers, new apartments becoming available or interesting holiday rental content. We want to make sure you're happy with the communications you receive from us, so if at any point you wish us to stop sending you marketing communications please let us know and we'll be able to remove you from our mailing list.


How do we keep this information?

We keep your information safe by storing it securely on our systems and only allowing access to staff who need it to conduct business. We never share your personal information with any other parties except when it aligns with the collection purpose—most commonly this will be with building managers as needed for any emergency procedures during your stay.
